Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in the northwest of China, is a provincial region where Hui ethic group mainly inhabit, which is on the upper reaches of the yellow River, neighboring Gansu, Shaanxi and inner Mongolia .It has a total land area of 66,400 square kilometers, and a total population of 6.1 million. Ningxia plain has always enjoyed the good reputation of Lush Southern-typed Field in North China and a Land Flowing with Milk and Honey. The mineral resources are very rich and the agriculture is developed with the wealthy Muslim customs, mysterious Xixia historical culture, grand desert scene and beautiful southern-typed scenery, which constitutes a unique regional culture and natural view in Ningxia. |
